I need some suggestions to sell or store?

I have two bikes (left) and I will be out of country for 3 years. I can't take my bikes overseas because its not worth the hassle $$$ and the head ache dealing with "Japanes brake test" and emissions. I have my 05' 10R (paid for) and an 08' Hayabusa (still paying for). The average cost of storage will run me $2700.00 +/- in a period of three years. To get all the "red tape" done in Japan will run me about 3500 bucks per bike. What would you do in this situation. Any suggestions?

If taking them is not in option I would sell. Think about how much less they will be worth in 3 years take the money you get put it in savings and buy a new bike cash when you get back. At least that'd what I would do

Let me be the first idiot to chime in with the " Leave them with me remark ". I would sell them if you can without to much of a hit. Or try to leave them with family.

Right? tell me about it. I invested about 3k on my 10R since I got it brand new I got 29k on the clock with a number of trackdays on it and she still floats my boat. The Busa is nice and comfy, but I only had it for a year and its all stock.

3 years is a loooong time. bikes depreciate reallllyyyyy fast.. by the time you go back, in 3 years, I bet technology will have something new for you.. but if you really want to keep em, try storage houses.
