Exclamation I have just committed Treason!!!!!

Yup, Me. Guilty as charged. I just picked up an '04 CBR600RR. But, I do still have the 10(and MAN is she pissed about sharing the garage with a Honda!) but the price was a steal at $3800 with 2500mi on it and I thought she'd make a pretty good track bike. Some dude tipped it over and scratched a few plastics, got the ins. check and didn't want to ride it anymore (still has a clean title too), so I got a pretty good dealyO on a new, cheap, easier-to-ride-on-the-track-than-the-10R, CBR.
What a cute little bike she is too, gutless as all getout, but not a bad ride I guess. Just going to have to spend some time learning how to ride a little bike again. :-) Wish me luck. Pics soon.

See you @ the Track!

Congrats and good luck, that should make for a fun track bike. Now you have no excuse not to come to Willow or Fontana.

Youll have no problem riding a "little" bike. Just drop a tooth up front and go up 1 or 2 in the rear and it will be a different animal. On the track it will never see less than 9-10k rpm anyway so youll be in the powerband.

hehehe, I took it out for a 200mi spin on sat. I've already bounced this thing off the rev limiter more times in 200mi than I have the 10 in a year, just waiting for it to start making power. as soon as she gets a good head of steam, the party's all over cause we're at 15.5k/rpm and it's time for the next gear and waiting on the power again. It does handle really well though and it's going to take forever to wear out rear tires(thankfully) :-)
