Hosting a video

Gents,

Can you give me some real easy instruction on hosting this video somewhere. Its about 160megs long, 3 min total clip with sound, put the video together from last weekends ride, nothing to extreme, just testing the video camera and software out.

Thanks

Hey, I'll host it for you pal, but 160megs. . . That's huge and the only quick way I could get it up on my site is to FTP it from your location, and that ain't gonna happen. Only other option is to send it on a CD snail mail. This may not sound to appealing, but it's a thought.

I posted that vid up, but it was hosted somewhere else....i think you can upload a vid under 2MB to this site....

Edit it down a bit shorter or compress it. Compressed vid will be of lower qualilty but plenty good for internet viewing.

try www.putfile.com I've seen a bunch of vids there.

My friend hosted one of my trackday videos at www.sportbikerider.us You should look into that one too.

Be careful of the sportbikerider.us website. It is a pretty good website, and they allow vids up to 10MB (at least they did a year ago), but they also have the ability to comment on everything there, and that place is FULL of freaking trolls.
