Hell.:headshake I was living in the Santa Clara/San Jose border about a year ago and things aren't good. The gang activity and drugs are getting really bad. Kids were selling drugs across the street, up the block there was a house that recently the bomb squad was called out to. Also after finding my ZX10R outside my garage ready to be loaded into a vehicle, I made the decision and told the wife we had to move. Luckly I got home early. Not only that, all the screens on the windows were cut and you can see were they tried to push a window to see if it was open.

We (the wife and I) purchased a house out in Patterson. A small farming town. The people are nicer, no traffic, and you rarely hear a siren. You see kids playing in the street and park after the sun goes down, which is a good sign for me. There are the few bad apples but 1000% better quality of life than the Bay Area life. People actually watch over each others house and pets if you go on vacation!! Nice!!!
