fuggin squids

so it's a beautiful day here in socal, bout 75 degrees and sunny. i'm out on the 10 cruizin and i see 3 separate guys ridin cruisers in tank tops, shorts and flipflops!! wtf?!! they all looked at least 30 years old as well(old enough to know better?) man, all it takes is 1 get off dressed like that and you're fuc*ed 4 life....btw-they all looked at me like i was crazy when i rode by in my full get up....yeah, its toasty out, but i enjoy havin ALL my limbs attached and my skin intact...i know it's gettin warm fellas, but please wear your gear. it will save your ass......sorry for the rant

i get the same look too, i dont wear a one piece suit, but i do wear a jacket helmet gloves and boots....

I don't understand how it's even possible to ride in flip flops. :headshake You would be shifting on the bare skin on top of your foot, not to mention it has the possibility to get caught on the lever when you go to downshift.

I also never go out without all my gear on, even when it's 90+ here in Miami. And yes, I also get the looks like I'm crazy, cause there are squids like that here as well.

The looks I get while going home from work when it's 112 degrees and I'm wearing my full face helmet, gloves, vented jacket and long pants here in Phoenix, with my trusty cooling vest underneath, without that and proper hydration I'm pretty sure I would pass out before getting home

it's hot here and already the younger crowed are wearing shorts and t-shirts. If they want to each my age. they better smartin up or it's dust to dust for them.
