F/S - Lost My Nerve

Hey guys, I've been waiting a few weeks for the purchaser of my bike to pay and pick up.

Well, after much agony I have decided not to sell. This would have been the 2nd bike I've purchased new since 2003, where I've mod'ed it up and sold it for a kings ransom sized loss.

Anywho, I'm back to riding and have made a vow to stay away from DC, where I've burned 8 of my 9 lives already

Dress for the slide & not the ride

Congrats on the new bike!

Smart move, but there are still more reasons to go to DC than to stay away from it.

I guess no more, or a lot less commuting that is. Keeping my job is probably my best reason for continuing to travel about the city

I won't commute to work on my 10, even though I can park at work (in the District) for free! Ironically, I think it's safer for me to commute from NoVa to DC by mountain bike than by motorcycle. And so I do.

Besides, the fun, twisty local roads are on the southern shore of the Potomac . . .
