Engine Work in MI or northern OH?

So I sold my house and I have a little extra chedda. I also have a cbr 900RR in my garage with a bad connecting rod bearing. Anywho, I am thinking of making this bike into a streetfighter stlye ride or a track bike (still undecided). Either way I need someone reputable to do the engine work. I definitly don't want to take it to a dealership, but I really don't know who specializes in performance engine work around here. I have a 945 big bore kit sittting in my garage, a new crank, (which I think I am going to send out to get lightened and balanced), and a few other goodies.

So, anybody know anyone who does good work in Michigan or northern Ohio? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Give the guys at MPH a call. Never had any engine work done by them, but they helped with my suspension at a trackday and the guys sounded pretty knowledgeable. Here's their website. http://www.mphohio.com/

Look up Brighton Superbike. They will know someone if not themselves.

James at Brighton Superbike is the man. He rebuilt my buds '03 CBR600RR and it SCREAMS.

Might also try Nicholson's in Ann Arbor. Good guys...
