Eastern TN riders?

Looking to move to eastern TN in a few months. Haven't done a house-hunting trip yet - just looking @ maps. Need a place with a lot of twisties (not JUST The Dragon) and reasonable travel times to Barber, Road Atlanta, etc. Looking @ Signal Mtn./Chattanooga or Knoxville so far. Any recommendations?

Anywhere between Knoxville and Asheville,NC has some of the best riding in the country. I just moved away from the Asheville area and i miss the roads. Asheville, Brevard has my vote, about 2 hr to Road Atlanta, 3 1/2 to VIR, and about 2 hr to Carolina Motorsports park, about 5 to Barber's.

Thanks for the videos Rocket! Living in NC is out of the question due to state income tax (I used to live in Charlotte before I started riding btw). I see Maryville in between Knoxville and the border. Gonna have to check that out.

I was in Chattanooga area last April and the roads were sweet. If the number of bikes is any indication, it's a good part of the country to live/ride.

Yea i have to agree with you about the NC state tax...it sucks

Draw a triangle between Chattanooga, Asheville, and Knoxville and you find the best riding area's in the country. I've spent a lot of time in Tenn if you move there i think you'll enjoy it.

Here's a great website that i go to sometime's, a great bunch of guy's and you can ask them for some job info, housing market ,etc. for that area, i'm sure they'll help you out.
