Camcorder on Bike

Has anyone tried mouting a camcorder on the tank behind the windsreen to record rides? (track or street). I've done this for track days using duct tape and paper towel roll, but needless to say, I'm looking for a better setup.

I'm sure the vibration is not good for long camera life. Ideally I would like to grab a magnetic camera mount that securely mounts to the tank and has lots of dampening to soak up vibration. Something that I can easily put on or remove with no duct tape. Does anyone know if these exisit or where to buy? Anyone experienced here that could share some insight?

Thanks

Tito

There are camera mounts available, use the search function or check out some of the sponsor sites. I know I've seen them before, just can't bring them to mind right now.

Some days will stay a thousand years, some pass like the flash of a spark.

Yeah we mount the camera on the tank all the time. Another good shot is to strap the camera down on the passenger peg lookin backwards
