Bump your for sale thread to the top
I was on the MV forum and found this pretty funny! lol
How to keep your listing at the top; all the time.
Day 1) Post bike for sale, but do not list if it is an Oro, SPR model. Also, state something like, "Camera not working, or don't know how to upload pics, or will have pics up later." Make sure you copy the text from the MV dealer site with the pages and pages of marketed data (this really applies more for eBay post). Immediately vote your listing with 5 stars.
Day 4) Respond to the numerous inquiries for mileage, price, color, location, after market parts. However, do not fill in all the blanks. This time only provide the location. Also, provide a pic, but make sure it's a truly lousy one. You want one with as much garbage as possible in the background or low lighting. Or even better, find a nice sport car and include it in the pic and claim it's yours.
Day 5) Apologize for your delayed response of pictures and "promise" to have them up in the next few days.
Day 6) Make sure you respond to anyone who makes a comment on your sale. This need to be done on a daily basis.
Day 7) Ask people to PM you for price. Make sure to respond with "PM received" when someone PMs you.
Day 8-11) Post pictures, but not all at once. Space them out and include 2-3 pics a day.
Day 12+) Provide the mileage
Day 30+) Lower price by $100 without revealing the price.
Repeat the entire process.
Performed properly, your listing will be in the top 3 for weeks or even months.
