Best GPS system for under $400

Just like the title says....which one is best? My buddy has a TomTom One and I really like how thin it is. I do a lot of traveling for work so this would be something that I would take on the road w/ me versus using it on my bike. Also where is the best place to get a good deal?

We're all getting older but not growing up.....

ive been tossing between the rider, andf zumo 550 (both over) and for economy the quest 1 and 2 (the 2 is the same as the 1 but with preloaded maps) Ive been on rides where the lead had the quest 1 and it was a smooth ride.

I think I am going to go w/ the TomTom One XL. It has a bigger screen for like $70 more.

I'm looking for one as well. I want something with a speaker port that I can use on the motorcycle as well as put it in the car for trips. Also, I need to be able to have US and Europe maps.

Just thought I'd post this even though it doesn't meet your guidelines.

I read in the AMA monthly magazine that Tom Tom's motorcycle unit that sells for 595 is offering 100 dollars off to all AMA members from the AMA website. Not sure if your a member and if 495 is a worthy price for the unit, but if you are check into it.
