Best AR-15 for the money??? ALL INPUT IS WELCOME!!!!

Hey guys I'm looking to buy an AR-15 before the new President takes office? Whats the best brand out there for the money? And who has the best deals?
I've got a guy that'll do the FFL transfer for $15 but he's about an hour and a half drive out of my way...
Prices So Far that I've found are:

1) Smith & Wesson: M&P ArR-15 16 inch Barrel and Collapsible 6 point stock - $1078 local gun store after tax
2) Bushmaster AR-15 same specs - $965 on www.summitgunbroker.com before tax and transfer
3) DPMS AR-15 same specs - $910.95 on www.rguns.net after tax and transfer
3) DPMS AR-15 same specs with a 4 rail system - $1025 on www.rguns.net after tax and transfer
4) Olympic Arms AR-15 .223 caliber for $975 before tax, at a local store so no transfer
5) Olympic Arms AR-15 6.8mm SPC for $950 before tax at a local Gun Store, so no transfer

Right now im leaning towards the third choice. All the gun places online are out of stock! I dont know much about the other brands out there, I've heard from several people to stay away from Olympic Arms. Also im in Waco, Texas and theres another shop that will do the transfer for $35 thats a lot closer... any input is welcome!!! thanks

I would stay away from olympic arms... all other brands would be fine. The reason all places are out of stock is because of obama and people panicing, my local gun shop is actually 10 weeks out on rock river if i were to order one of theirs today. I am seriously considering picking up a second rifle though.

Rock River Arms Pro-Series. One of the best AR-15 type weapons I have ever shot. I prefer this one myself. http://www.impactguns.com/store/RRA-GOVT1001.html

LOL, Why would i be joking? i used to own a colt but i never had time to shoot it so i sold it, i never even got to put one round thru the gun. my dad left it to me when he passed... also ive got 500 .556 cal rounds sitting at my house and now i can afford one so i want to get another one. i HAD a bushmaster for less than a day that a guy bought off me when i was leaving the pawn shop. i paid $1123 for it after tax and he bought it for $1300 cash before i could even get it home. Now the same pawn shop has went up 200 on the same gun. So I'm looking for the best deal. If i can find an awesome deal i may be up for buying two.

wow... awesome setup but for that price, id buy two and keep one and customize the other one. I looked at impactguns first but they're ALWAYS out of stock, and no one ever answers when i call or responds to my emails. If you happen to know a rep at that site pls let me know. thanks

my buddy has a bushmaster, Ive shot it a few times, its pretty nice I really liked it but you gotta think about weather or not you want the handle to come off or not the bushmaster one doesnt so scopes wil have to be placed on top of it and they dont work the greatest up there and the finish on the bushmaster barrel is semi crude, cosmetically bt nothin wrong w it
