advice:26'' tv/dvd combo

need some advice on a affordable lcd/plasma with a built in dvd player under $500 and in the 26" ball park. thanks

toshiba or lg are your best bet for quality, should be in that price range as well, just remember though one goes bad they both go bad.

Vizio is a great TV at a great price, but i dont think they have a combo tv/dvd.

i agree, vizio has come a long ways and i am truely impressed with how far theyve come in the last couple years. i was admiring their simple 720p picture at cosco the other day, i swore it was 1080p!

im well aware of what tv brands are good from previous research. what im trying to accomplish here is to mount it off in a ceiling corner of my bed room. thats why id like a dvd intergrated with the tv- for less wiring.

this is what i just ordered from another site for only $450 shipped.
Sharp LC26DV24U 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with Biult-in DVD Player




i did order this wall mount from amazon. im just hoping the mounting pattern on the Sharp matches up with it.
