71 year old drops to would be thieves

People who want to say a concealed carry permit won't do you any good.

this is what I tell them... Yes, if a thief has a gun to your head, you won't out draw them... however 99% of the time... they don't, there is a window of opertunity that will present itself... and you will be able to bring your firearm into play and win the day

Some of the liberal idiots talked about charging the old man. Never heard anymore about it.

When Henderson turned his back, Samuel Williams pulled his .380-caliber semi-automatic handgun from his concealed holster, took several steps and then dropped to one knee and fired two shots at Henderson as he bolted for the door.

Samuel Williams holds a Florida concealed carry permit and will not face any criminal charges for shooting the armed suspects at the Palms Internet Cafe, according statements made by Florida State Attorney’s Office representative Bill Gladson to the Ocala News.

Look guys,,,I don't think for one minute the guy should be charged with anything other than being a hero, and stopping a couple idiots.

The only thing that concerns me is when he shoots from inside the building to outside the building. From what I've heard about Law enforcement and other people licensed to carry, you ALWAYS have to make sure of "background". I took this to mean that when you are shooting, make sure it's clear behind the target.

I don't think that rights should be taken away as far as carrying goes, but I do think that maybe better training should be available. I'm not sure about making it a requirement, but I don't know how else to go about it.

Am I wrong here anywhere?

But again,,,I'm glad the guy stood up and fought back!!!

Thats awesome that he had the courage and discipline to protect himself and his wife. Im glad the kids got shot but didnt die, that will be a lesson for them to remember. But in reality, they will probably brag about how bad ass they are after getting shot in the "hood" or something gay like that

guns work

I have a friend whose Marine son and five soldiers (all Iraq veterans, some decorated) thought it would be funny to scare the local Arabs, So they walked into their stores with toy guns and took their money. It worked for several weeks but then one decided to defend himself and unloaded five bullets into the Marines back.
The Marine survived and got 35 years for his prank.
