2009 6r exhaust

Folks, the 6r forum is a bit bland so i come to big brother for suggestions.

Have a 2009 6R with full akra cf exhaust. runs like a raped ape for a 600, 116hp at the wheel.

Went down at the track last weekend, left side, some damage. my race plastics just arrived and she's going to become my dedicated track bike.

With all that jargon, i think i'll puke if i crash on the right side and see that pipe get f'd up. Thinking of getting a cheaper slip on for track duty. Like one from Hot bodies, their "moto gp" pipe.

Any suggestions or has anyone used this pipe? I know the belly pan i got from them is a POS compared to other brands so i assume the pipe will be on par as a pos but i'd look at it as a throw away.

I am running the hotbodies MGP on my 10. For the $$$, it serves its purpose. It sounds good, nice and deep growl, for a cheap option. My only complaint about it is the mounting bracket. It fits pretty loosely around the can and you can hear it vibrating against it when you're standing next to it. I'm not sure if everyone has this problem. By some pics I have seen, it looks like it fits good on others. If you go with that one, you will be pretty happy and if you go down on your right side, your feelings wont be hurt. Also their slash-cut slip on's are even cheaper. Maybe opt for one of those and save some $$$.

isn't the slash cut pretty much an open ended pipe? i heard something like that on an r1 at the track, ridiculously loud imo. the full system is loud enough, i am not looking for the "oh, here is comes again" attention.

Yeah, its an open-end and pretty loud. Just was saying it's an even cheaper option is all.. The MGP is a good option though. I'm pretty happy with it.
