Will a gen 2 cluster fit a Gen 3?

Cluster on my gen 3 went out. No tach or speedometer. Was looking to buy another one. But they are high mileage. My bike is an 08 it had around 8k miles. I found a gen 2 with around the same miles. Just wondering if it would work.
