Is power commander swappable on other bikes ?

just a quickie question. i tried searching, no results.
i have a pc3 for my 05 10R, can i use it when i get the 07 10r or r1 pr gsxr1000 ?
is power commander be used on a different bike using that bike-specific map ?
if yes, then why are there so many versions on their website ?

If you are in need of the right answer then call Powercommander, they are really nice and would prob answer your question for you.

I am going to say no, get the right unit. There is no way a Kawasaki PCIII is going to fit on a Suzuki or yamaha as they all have differnt connectors. Get the right PCIII for your app or else the next post will be

"Why didnt you all warn me, now my ECM is fried and I cant ride my bike..."

When you find out. Please post the correct numbers. I know I could use them in the near future. Thanks.

Model #

The right model number for the 06 is 222-411. I called dynojet yesterday. My pcIII had 222-410 on it but thats just a part # for the case.
