I changed mine @ 200 miles (didnt know what was in it)..then @ 500 miles.. when I reach 1000 I'll change again then every 1500 or so after that..Using Kawasaki 10-40 for break-in..Go w/ Motul later..BTW, I'm following break-in rules but adding 2000 rpms above what manual says..
Did you change your filter as well or just the oil? You recommend using 10-40 Kawasaki oil right? For how long do you use it before you start using synthetic? Does anyone know the fram part number for the oil filters?
Each time i do an oil change the filter goes as well (personal preferance). I don't use Kawi's oil though. How Long before synthetic?? mmmmm good question, i'd say no less than 1k.

i recently bought my kawasaki zx9r 2002 wit 14555 on dashboard than my engine starting knocking i re did my whole engine i was told it was cheaper to just swap the engine but i like to keep original so i did the engine and was told i neede to break in the engine to put 500 miles and do oil change im at 600 miles should i used kawi oil or motul?????? how much oil do i need to buy im also changing the oil filter...
after i do oil change how long before im schedule for my next oil change, after the post break oild change how often should i change my oil.
