Help me decide which Gen 4 ZX10R to get

Hi Everyone,

I need to make a decision on 2 Gen 4 ZX10Rs that I inspected over the weekend. Both seem to be aesthetically mint, but have not test ridden any of the 2. I've been riding for close to 5 years now, however I have no idea how upgrades may improve (or negatively impact) bike performance. Was hoping you guys could help me choose which one to get :)

Here goes the bike descriptions:

Bike # 1
Mileage: 21,000 KM
Upgrades: Akra can, R&G sliders, R&G engine cover
Usage: Never tracked, city and occasional long rides

Bike # 2
Mileage:10,000 KM
Upgrades: Ohlins TTX front Carts, Woolich full race package ( Quickshifter, etc), Attack Rearsets, Cat removed exhaust, Motion Pro Quick throttle, Near new 520 chain and sprockets.
Usage: Been to 2 track days, otherwise just city rides

Thanks in advance guys.

What are the prices? I'd go for 2 if money isn't a problem.

Bike 2 is $ 500 more... Was just wondering though if those parts he installed will need adjusting or will it have any chance of "altering" the bike to the point that it may all shorten the bike's lifespan at all.

Sorry just to clarify, would you think he may have done more than just 2 given the investment he had to make? That's actually a good point.

He also decated the exhaust and didn't put an expensive pipe on the end. Kinda screams track bike when you think about that as well.

#bike 1: take the covers off the engine and have a look for scrapes etc... Normally levers or bar ends would be where I'll start off with.

#bike 2 for that amount of kit he might as well be racing.

You have one of 2 problems i.e current owner has more money then sense.

Or he bought it off a previous owner who had more money then sense.

Either way how certain are you that his not come off ? What's the reason for sale engine on its way out? I'll would ask him what groups was he in beginners inters or fast i.e advance.

Realistically half the millage with that kinda kit on for the price difference between both I wouldn't rush straight into it without doing the homework.

Look at the wear on the rearsets. Trackdays bring a lot of wear to the pegs and heel plates. If they look rather new he may be telling the truth.

Bike 1 will be due for a valve inspection in 2k miles
