Those supplier maps (showing power gains) are pretty subjective. The reason I say that is because they're likely showing you a Completely stock bike vs a Completely stock + intake bike. More air on a stock bike would add power, yes. If you look at Sprint's air filter data for the F1 they claim the same thing; 2-3HP gains (don't quote me) solely from bolting it on. Now that IS dyno proven with those parameters BUT I haven't seen how much power is to be gained from putting an F1 on a previously tuned bike. So, I don't think the supplier is BS-ing anyone with those numbers, but I think you're only going to see that 2-3HP on an already modded bike unless you very tediously dyno/street tune it.
That dyno is likely some bone stock de-restricted or Euro spec bike.
