Thank you cooter, just taking a look at that website now, what is it supposed to do for you? does it calculate similar figures that I listed in my previous post?

Yep. It will show you stock gearing settings and you can put in your current and custom setting even different tire sizes and rev limits. The website will break down the speeds at different rpms and compare them. It has a lot of stuff that's over my head.

I'm in the process of going -1 +2........Holy Phuck!! The front sprocket was unbelievable and I was prepared for the legendary reputation for being tight. Laughed at my impact wrench (air) and my 3 ft breaker bar. Ended grabbing an 8ft long piece of oil field trash and grabbed it at about the 6ft mark to bust it loose.......are you kidding me. By the way, I'm 5'10", 195 lbs and no stranger to the gym.

BTW....the retaining washer (only 3,300 miles, Gen4) left all the interior teeth in the splines of the shaft and no dealer within 250 miles of me had one in stock. Now my shits all torn up for a week or so. I guess the point is, if your going to do this, order one ahead of time.

You flattend that washer out before you tried to get the nut off right? Maybe you didn't get it flat enough and the nut was hitting it.

Yea, good question though under the circumstances. I flattened it before I started and even went back to it a few times and made sure I REALLY flattened it good due to the difficulty I was having. No chance that washer was binding, probably not even before the first time I tried with the impact

Yeah...in the end...a good combination of Throttle cam adjustment and gearing change will give you what you need....

I have done +3 on the rear with OZ Racing wheels. The power on the bike feels very uncomfortable . For example going up in the gears. From 1st 2nd is hard as fuk. Bike jolts when hanging gear.
