Exhaust Header Gaskets

My Graves headers just came in but they didn't include new gaskets I guess...
I called my local Kawi dealer and they don't stock them...

Is there anywhere local where I can get some non-oem gaskets that will fit Gen5 headers?

When in doubt... send it!

Pop out the old ones, flip em around and re use them.

Also using a dremel type tool shave away any protruding areas of the gaskets which effect flow. You can check this before you line up the headers simply by holding each gasket onto the sleeve in turn.

They prob dont stock many of them due to most people dont even change them out. I bought some for my Gen 4 a few years back and ended up not using them so they just sit in my garage. Only time I have replaced them was on my 20+ year old zx-6 with 40k miles on it, no idea if they were ever replaced before either.

Of the multiple exhausts I have replaced on motorcycles I dont recall ever seeing new gaskets included with the exhaust, you should be fine re-using your current ones without issue.

The stock oem ones had some pretty odd imperfections (that I didn't want to grind/sand down) so I just ended up buying 2 sets of new OEM gaskets. Thankfully they were in stock and will be delivered today.

When in doubt... send it!
