2014 vs 2016 zx10 dyno comparison.

2014 zx10 US spec with flashed ECU (Woolich), full Leo Vince exhaust.
2016 zx10 Thai Spec with flashed ECU (Flashtune), Akrapovic link and long can.

2016 zx10 before and after flash, still some issues with the flash software so he didn't get time to actually tune, it's just flashed to full spec. So we are hoping for 200PS with more time on the dyno!!

Gawd dayum! Even if you knocked a few hp off for conditions (or were these done same day back to back?) the new bike is very impressive!

They weren't done back to back but there was a couple S1000RR on just before.. Tuned 2015 did 188/112 & a 2012 185/108. My 2012 BMW s1000rr with Stage 1 cams pulled 200PS/113nm a few months back on the same dyno.

Not you, but those numbers are not valid. Check with Ivan as he's done the leg work on dyno machines. The reliable and valid testing procedure is how long tires last.

How are the numbers not valid?

If a 2011-15 puts down xxx hp and a 2016 puts down xxy hp on the same Dyno the numbers are perfectly valid.

Just because the 2011-15 didn't put down some magic 190+hp that people dream they actually have doesn't mean those numbers on that Dyno are incorrect.

The dyno doesn't have the AFR readout connected but we do use our own portable gauge. Didn't get too many runs so far but the AFR did look pretty good 12.8-13.0. The bike should be back at the dyno in a couple days to do some tuning.

Nothing that dude ever says makes any sense. Every once and a while he says something worth while but when it comes to dyno info and tuning info on a Gen4... well.. lol

2013 10R
2007 650R
2016 10R

This is a stock UK Gen5 on 97 octane (pump) on a dyno 250i as it came out the crate. On the same dyno a gen4 with just a slip on gave 174 nearly identical to a new R1 completely stock, a s1000rr with full akra and mapping 191.
