Tire Balancing Beads

Has anyone tried or used the tire balancing beads? Just sent my rims out to be powder coated and I really would like to avoid using the weights since they can mess up the paint. I have heard the beads work great on vehicles but no real information on motorcycles. Thanks in advance.

My dad put them in his front tire on his honda goldwing last tire change. He claims it is doing as advertised. I believe the product he got was called "ride on"

I used the balancing beads every time I change tires (almost every other month) and they work well.. the factory balance is always the smoothest so I did notice a little difference after ditching the factory weights but not much.. I do notice the front beads usually turn into dust by the time I change the tire cause I get about 6 k out of my front tires. I used 2 ounces in the front and 2 ounces in the back and my bike is very smooth.

Not needed on g4 using powers. But I can see how they may work for distance cruisers that run the hard-last-forever tires.

Why not use stick on weights???

Powdercoated rims, the stick on will not mess them up...

If you hand painted them, maybe

I have a buddy who got them on his FJR who says they're great. Everybody I know who tried them on race replicas and sumos hate them.
