Poor Mileage out go Bstone S20

I tried the Bstone S20 on my Gen 4. I put 1600 miles of aggressive street riding and it is worn out. The center is gone. I don't understand this as this is suppose to have a harder center and softer sides. I have always gotten about 2500 to 3000 miles out of BT16s before. I don't want to hear any BS about "Slipstones". Bstone has always worked well for me. Almost all the miles on the S20s were twisty roads. The front looks fine but the rear is gone.

Something doesnt sound right. I have more miles than that on my S20's and they are all on the track.

^ Any secret burnouts or unauthorized suspension adjustments you need to tell us about?

Not one burnout. I have not made one adjustment to the suspension. Maybe I should but it seems to handle great. Im not saying the cords are showing but it has worn down past the wear markers in the center. I've never had a tire do this so quickly. Maybe its just a bad tire I don't know. Bike handles great with the S20s.

I have never run them myself but the S20s are very popular in my riding group and everyone here is getting more than double that mileage. That's trackday riding, dragon runs, Local mountains, and commuter miles. All the bikes that run them seem to be 08-13 1000rr's though. I cant imagine the kawi having that big of difference on tire wear though.

Definitely inline with my experience... I got terrible tire life with them. 1900km rear. Q2 & Q3 much better

Seems like ordinary Tombstone mileage to me The oem bt016s off my 10 and 1000rr were toast at 1800ish.

I got 1800klm out of the rear s20 worn out edge to edge on my zx14 i know a different bike . I got about 3500klm out of a pilot power I did enjoy the s20 especially the front tyre the rear had a weird vague feeling when i started tipping it in apart from that great tyre.I have just started using dunlop sportsmarts on my zx10 best tyre I've used grippy + are lasting twice as long as any sports tyre I've ever used awesome .
