Ok.. kind of a noob question here

Alright... I was reading the manual and when I got to rear suspension preload settings it took me a few minutes for this to sink in as it seems really odd way to explain it. It says travel is 157-170mm... Which is great... But it explains the settings as such... 157mm as light and 170mm as heavy.... Does this sound odd to anyone else? A fully compressed spring at 157mm should be the most preload no?

It does seem like and odd way to explain it. I would just worry about getting 30mm of static sag front and rear and tune compression and rebound to your liking.

I have yet to see a "bike manual" setting work for anyone. There are just too many variables and human input to be able to make a list that fits everyone. As Tech mentioned a lot of it will be off your feedback to make you comfortable.

Just aim for 30-35mm of sag in the forks and 25-30mm in the shock.
