Fork rebuild suggestions.???

I popped a seal this weekend so I figure while I'm I. There I should address the internals..I'm 200 lb in gear should I do springs and a revalve kit from race tech? I just spoke with them and they Said the stock springs are fine for my weight. I've Been told in the past that the stock springs are too long.... Idk what to donor which direction to go in. Also is the gen 3 shock an upgrade over then horrible gen 1?
