Do I need to switch out my tire?

So I got home from riding today and I found a small copper rod stuck in my tire. It was about 1mm wide and 3-4mm long (it wasn't deeper than the tread) and right in the center. Should I replace the tire or will it be fine? The tire only has about 1250 miles on it.

I didn't notice a leak and I'll probably check the pressure in the morning.
