Different tires for my '11 zx10r?

Im in need of new tires for my zx10r.

Currently have Q2's on and might want to try another tire just to see what else is out there.

I do a few track days a year, and then just street riding.

Any suggestions from you guys would be nice.

Thanks in advance!

How have the Q2's worked for you? What are you looking for that makes you want a different tire. There are tons of opinions on which tire is better but your intended use (and experience on Q2's) would help better be able to point you in a direction...

05 Z1000 - Traded
05 ZX12R - Stolen
04 ZX10R - Going to be sold soon. New bully on the block!
13 ZX10R - Getting abused...

Hypersport S-20 FTW

I've tried the Q2s, Corsa III, PP 2CT's, BT 16 and of all of them I felt more comfort and input on the S-20s than the rest. But they are also the newest developed street tire I have used. I will try and look forward to the Q3s.

Q2's have less grip than the OEM BT016 in the wet! Well that was my impression! After a few hundred miles on the new Q2's, the worn-out BT-016's still seemed to have more "upright" grip than the Q2's when the roads were wet!

This surprised me as everybody really says how crap the OEM Bt-016's are! Comparing the Q2's to the worn-out BT-016's in the bends they feel loads better! But I suspect a new set of BT-016's would have felt a lot better too, so thats not so easy to compare.

Just my feedback!

R-10's all the way!!!!!!! N-tec Great Britain if you can get them....or supercorsa's as 3rd choice.

bt-016's are ok till they over heat then bammmm no warning.....on your head.....:(

Just remember DOT race tires are BAD till warmed up.....but amazing once up to temp.
Just my opinion....but learned my lesson with oem tires (BT,Q2-3,PP'S,diablos...etc...)...never again.
