Big Piston Fork Interchange

I have a Gen 3 and suspect my forks are slightly bent.
I found a set of 09 zx6r "Big Piston" forks and triple clamps for $350
Will these interchange onto my Gen 3 and are the "Big piston" forks a real improvement?

The 6r forks are 41mm and the 10's are 43.

They'll interchange, you just have to have your steering stem pressed into the 6r triple.

Yup, you'll need to swap the stem aswell and also use 6r or aftermarket clip ons

Keep in mind that changes in overall fork length will alter handling characteristics. Fork from a 6r may not have a desirable spring rate or valving for your setup.

Yes the 6r forks are longer than gen2 forks so you'll have to have 10-15mm of fork above the top triple to get same geometry....you'll have to figure out if the internals are suitable for your weight.
