Is 09 10r stock swingarm aluminium?

I have 09 10r i just bought a month ago(first kawi), Washing it I found small crack in swingarm. Have heard it may be magnisium? Any one know for sure? Thanks!

It's not magnesium. It's definitely aluminum. Cast and pressed pieces welded together.

Where there is a crack?! If the last part where the shaft passes to the excessive shrinkage of the shaft
Aluminum it is and can be welded but if it cracks a little, if the larger the best swap the swingarm

Because cracks on aluminum are not harmless because it increases due to vibration, can be welded but if you are in an awkward position better replaces part
BTW, I'm not American or Englishman so my english is as it stands
