ZX RACER: Do not buy from him!!

In his own words there was no scrapes or nothin.

THERE'S A FREAKING CUT IN THE CARBON FIBER WEAVE!!!
It's not about the money, it's about integrity, and the fact that honesty goeas a lot further than lying to make $100

He showed me pics of it on his bike, and I took him at his word of it saying that there were no scratches or nothin.

i dont think small claims court would be worth his drive from indy to alabama for $100. you do have to take people for their word when buying used items. he asked for pics, he got pics. although they did not apparently show the damaged can. but realistically, he payed $100 for a leo vince slip-on? i dont think one should really expect it to be minty fresh for so cheap....

however, if i were the seller and the buyer was not happy with the purchase, i would offer a refund. at least try to make the deal good.

I am not that mad over the money, but why not be honest. If he had stated that there was a crack in the can, I would have asked Kabooki if it would work. I am just trying to fore warn others about this d-bag. The pic that I got was a pic of it on his bike from a distance away. I am guessing that he wrecked and was shitty about it, so he was tryign to get more money for a POS item. I am just appalled that people that own the same kind of bike and have the same passion who are willing to help out in a forum like this would be so inclined to lie just to make a sale.
I bet he lives in the ghetto, and needed money for hookers or blow. but if thats the case why not be honest??

tru dat... but he did say there was nothing wrong with the pipe either. i would be pretty pissed if that happened to me but at the same time i know what they are worth and i would have requested alot more pics or it would have raised a brow and i would have thought it was a scam.

I remember a few years ago i was looking for a bike and ran into a 06 or 07 yamaha r1 for sale for 2500 bucks! I was like this cant be for real... the guy sent me pics to my email of it and it was super clean looked new. he said nothing was wrong with it but it just sounded to good to be true. turns out this was a scam.. as i thought it would be.
