Street Z vs 636 problems with member

i hate being the one to blow some one up but Street Z vs 636 had a part out thread and i bought a radiator off him and he has not yet shipped it. i am trying to figure out if everyone is having these problems with him. he used to be easy to contact but i haven't heard from him in a week now. i know i can contact paypal and get my money back but honestly i just want my radiator. i have a track day coming up and with out it i wont pass inspection!! also if you see this Street Z vs 636 i honestly just want you to ship it. i wont even give you negative feedback.

You have every right to be nervous, 2 weeks is a long time and the thought of missing a track day....good lord! I hope he does you right..

Never forget who helped you!
Never forgive who fu*ked you.
Doing a trackday is like "SEX", no matter what happens you'll want to hit it again..

here's my situation, i have a radiator that works very well on the bike right now. how ever, i somehow managed to break ALL three tabs on my radiator lol. (i assume coming down hard from a wheelie) the little bracket below is an easy replacement, but both the top tabs are broken! the thing is they aren't useless. somehow the entire tab came off so it's just a matter of welding the aluminum back together. it's difficult to find someone who can weld aluminum these days but my question is do you think i'm better off just having those tabs welded or borrowing your radiator. i have no idea what to expect from the integrity of an aluminum weld.

ps- right now i DO ride my bike. the radiator is being held on by the pretty much only the rubber tubes and the plastics containing it. i obviously don't wheelie it but i DOOOO ride it hard still. i took copper wire and used that to help hold it in place. that wouldn't pass inspection at the track though right?! lol

i appreciate your help

Take that rascal to a fab or muffler shop and see about getting the top 2 tabs welded back on.......or use some of that epoxy stick or jb weld for the time being and just dirt dobber that shit on there to hold the tabs on?

a good weld shop should be able to TIG weld those right back on, but you will need to pull the rad and drain it... those guys weld, to make it work right, they need it clean and dry and on the bench.

if it's been two weeks or more now... it's over due. Poke him some more, just be prepaired for a response like "my sister died and I had to go to the funeral" is all... if it all works out in the end, it's all good
