Any time I'm riding if:

- It's under 25 deg C.
- I don't have to see a client before or after I get to the office.
- I don't have a social occasion immediately after leaving the office.
- If my destination itself doesn't allow for a change of clothes.

In all these circumstances I ride with jeans, riding boots, leather jacket, gloves and helmet. except if over 30 deg. C. Then I ride with my textile perforated jacket.

All other times I opt for a full suit. Two piece would be more practical of course but they are not allowed on tracks in my parts so not worth it.

But in my town T-shirts and shorts are far too normal when its 22 deg C and up!

Back when I lived in London, full suits were quite normal to see in everyday traffic. Much more mature safe crowd out there!

Here is rife with posers and squids!

the only issue is it is sooooooo hot here that there are exceptions to the rule.

I'm going to a advanced riding course on Sunday - I'm seriously considering wearing one.

Whoa.. Folks wear full suits on the street? Even when commuting to work they'd don on a full suit?

I put on a mesh jacket and sidi's and sometimes wear jeans, but haven't considered going to work in a full suit yet.

Of course, come winter this might all change - I've only had her for about 10 weeks so far.

Like I said, quite normal out there. Here I still carry that habbit on. I keep 4 (dress suits) at work to change into, so just a tie and dress shirt under my 1 piece on the way to work.

Think of it this way...I have never gone down on the track, and been down 3 times on the road in everyday traffic....odds are you will go down on the road, so why dress so light.

I mean there is the odd time you go squid or light, but if you keep those times down to a minimum you reduce the odds of going down unprepared.

I probably go squid 3 or 4 times a year...it's a chance I take, but 99.9% of the time I'm very well prepared.

I only wear the suit when I'm planning on riding hard. Most of the time just a leather jacket, jeans, gloves and sidi streetburners.

I wear my 2 piece suit any time I'm going for a "ride." To me that means I'm going out with the sole purpose of riding, with no final destination other than going back to my house when I'm done. If I'm riding my bike 30 miles or what have you to go meet someone to dinner, I shan't be eating in leather pants with knee sliders.

I used to wear my 1 piece for the majority of my street riding. Even in 32*C weather.

One of the few times I wasn't wearing my suit I destroyed my bike. That was March 23, 2010, my knee still bleeds once in a while to date.
