Nitrous kit pics direct port and 2.5lbs bracket mounting

Hey guys, well I'm putting the squeeze back on her... but since I sold my other nitrous kit with my other bottles I'm using the 2.5lbs bottle that was on that 12r I had...... its a 2.5lbs polished bottle and with some left over fittings and such I mounted a liquid filled nitrous gauge using a T fitting. Being that the 10r its pretty hard to hide a nitrous bottle this size even in the front fairing I wanted to make a efficient mount. So I took a stock left hand passenger peg and cut off the tabs and ground it smooth. I then made a bracket to bolt the peg assembly to the bottle bracket that I had. I had some hardware laying around so I found some really good 8mm bolts that I could run a nut on the back of so I can lock-tight everything down good.... the bracket is sold as a rock!!! I just need to make some spacers so the bracket isnt being bent in all the time, was working with what I had in the garage at the time and wanted to make sure she would hole good.... Anyways..... heres some pics

OK now for the nitrous injection part. I wanted to run a direct port nitrous set up. So I took a ride to the local murrays speed and custom and picked up a distribution block, some nylon tubing from a hardware store (temp) and some fittings I needed... I had a spare nitrous solenoid that I'm going to use which is actually way over kill but I wound up coming up with this....

I've got the jet located in the fitting that comes out of the nitrous solenoid and those lines are kinda only temporary.... I want to use the steel lines and make them exactly equal length. Even though these are only maybe a half in longer than one another I'd like to get them even. I'm also going to polish that bottle up I think, I gotta get the polishing wheel for my grinder anyways.....

I think I'm going to make the switch to running either all race gas or just a mix to keep detonation down the speed shop only had to jet sizes a .22 and a .30 which is a 17hp and a 35 according to schnitz but from what I've been told the direct injection adds the hp up a lil.... a 40 shot should be pretty good for the bike....

p.s. incase anyone is wondering about the bottle position. The bottle has a siphon tube in it which is positioned in the bottle at the same position as the valve outlet so I wanted to keep that at the lowest point in the bottle as possible this way I'm getting the liquid out of the bottle first.

Holy crap that bottle is huge and it honestly looks hideous hanging of the side of your bike Wouldnt the flexible tubing that you have the nitrous coming out of whip around during a spray cycle (edit: you addressed this yourself)? I have never used nitrous so I have no idea but maybe someday I will

hahah yeah I know its pretty horrible but its very functional

that tubing is actually solid as a rock and doesn't move under pressure.... I'm going to replace it with steel tubing as soon as it gets in though.
