Wonder how that thing will hold up under the heat and dirt flying around. Very cool idea though.

the camera or the monitor?? The camera is made for a car, and also water proof, i usually dont ride in the rain anyways, and the lens is under that protective glass, which screws off for easy cleaning, the monitor is held on to the mount with heavy duty velcro, so when i park it i can take it off, and bring it with me, or just put it in under the seat compartment. It also has a built in speaker, which wont do anything with the camera, but i could wire up my mp3 player and listen to that if i want to, while the monitor is on.

I was thinking about the same thing..............where is the power coming from? these devices require 12V.....our battery is a 6V.

Does the system have a aux output to connect a camcorder? Ran you run a second camera? What i'm getting at is, can a second camera be connected (facing forward) then hook the whole system into a camcorder for making videos?
