General hp question?

Don't know really if anyone could answer this question completely, but I was hoping that maybe someone else has the same mods done on there 04 Zx10 and could give me a ball park. I was wondering around how much hp my bike is putting down at the wheel. I havn't gottten around to dynoing it yet. But perhaps someone on here could give me an estimate. Mods include TRE, PC III, Level one racing slip on, Factory Pro V stacks, and BMC racing air filter. Could I even being getting close to 170whp?????? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

You're probably around 160-163hp on pump gas. A full system will get you in the mid 160s. 170s are going to take some bigger work.

Not to dispute what you said about that I am probably in the 160-163 range. If this is true, then are sportriders claims that a stock 04 Zx10 is dynoing at 164. I am confused

Stop counting. You'll do more to improve your speed by learning how to use what HP you have.

I just can't believe that after all the $$$$ I spent I am only in the 160 range. I have to get her on the dyno and then repost this......This sucks!!

general hp

I have a 04 zx10r with a power commander and a aka slip on with a costum map and I'm pusshing 167.7 to the rear wheel. Just like they said learn how to use the power you have, if you know how to ride and can get the jump on them you will win. john forgot the bmc race filter

Different dyno's will give you different numbers. Besides HP isn't the only thing that wins races. Gearing and weight have an effect too along with skill.
