Nite Rider/ revenge of the fat fuggar
Revenge- So I get a call around 9 pm, some buds are going for a lil blast up the intersate to blow off some steam. I'm always game for a ride so we mount up. We get out to the elevated highway that is about a 20 mile run with no exits or on ramps, traffic nill. Time to light em up! A busa with just slip ons falls prey first. Not even close but he wants more. So he gets more. ..fumes in the face! Two Gixxers get eaten next. Were's that R1? I want some revenge. No, not the pesky one but a a new victom. Claims only Akra slip ons (which sound fuggin awesome on the R1!). This guy is a good 40 pounds lighter than me and faster in the twisties but doesn't do the roll ons very much. It was hard to get a clean launch with him since he's not used to the system. The results 2 out of 3 runs I spanked that arse!! The one I lost was due to a shift error. Take that Yami! I gave up 40 pounds and still laid down the spank! This tells me the "Pesky R1" that haunts my dreams is just damn fast. Or the beaten R1 rider had too big a case of clinch ass.... Night rider: We stopped in search of grub. Bastids found some late night diner that had nothing for a dieting fat fuggar to eat. We decided to take the senic route home. An extra hour through some nice twisties in the middle of no where. It was certainly a different experience. Fun, but stressfull at the same time. Had a few cats run out on us but no larger creature. I cery familuar with this stretch of road but at night it becomes a whole new place. The pace was quick, but not pushing by any means. Another 40 miles of interstate eaten at warp speed and I was home. Fugg, 2 am. Damn, I'm tired today! It was great fun though. I'm going to have to make night time twisties a regular thing. it brings the speeds way down while getting the same thrill factor. ..or pucker factor at least!

Wow! Great story miykl. Sounds like a blast. I love those rides that finish out the day and leave you feeling used up. You feel like you've accomplished something. See 'dem r1's ain' nuttin'!! Your boy's just plain fast is all. It happens. Now, as for me theres snow on the ground and salt on the streets. I'm done for the season. Won't ride with the salt down. This is the most aggravating and excrutiating fuggin' time of the year BARNONE!!! I go nuts, so hearing sweet stories like this will keep me going. No go ride some more, kick some azz, and report back for duty mister. Again very nice story man.

Great story man. Sounds exciting.
I dunno about all that night twisty riding though.
I like to hunt deer, but not with my bike though.
I want to hear that story with you beating the fast r1 soon!

Gosh guys Thanks
Hill, i was very worried about dear and cattle. We run up on cattle during day rides on this stretch. Big pucker factor when there's 10-15 cows in the road just around a blind curve. I thought old men in pick ups was my main concern!
Nator, We're very lucky here. We usually don't ever have more than a week or stretch at a time that I can't ride (50 degree limit for me). I guess I'm spoiled. I get annoyed during those times. I could never go months. ...well, I'd probablly just take up snow mobiling or something...

hmm Sounds like that pesky R1 has had more mods than will admit. Good on you for taking one of his brethren down.
Don't feel so bad Mavrik, you're not the only one snowed in around here. Crazy Tx. weather.

That's most people's thoughts. Oxygenated fuel maybe? We'll never know. It's damn fast though that Pesky R1! Last night was my first R1 kill. I was really starting to doubt the 10. ...at least it's ability to help a fat fuggar win!

mikyl, the day i smoked another 10 was the day i knew there was nothin' else out there touchin' the zx10r, plain and simple. God that day i was after busa's, r1's rr's, gsxr's!!!! I didn't give a care. I was like a ravenous beast, i'm never like that. Hell i don't even like drag/rollin' racin' very much. 'Course we're talkin' non-turboed or non nos'd bikes here naturally. God that was a great day!!!
