Finaly New Rims
Well here is the deal. I got Carrozzeria Rims Gold Forged Aluminum. 4 days of owning them they start shredding Bearings at 100mph heading to San Diego. <I was less than excited>
however for the 4 days I had them. (apparently it's a flaw in bushing size?) A L O T Of fun.
However that is on the Old 05 ZX10 not the newest n coolest 06 but she has quite the personality with those rims. price? Rims tires (qualifiers) mounted and balanced with K&N Air Filter and New HP Plugs was 2091.00(including taxes.)

Carrozzeria had them send back the old kit sent out a brand new kit with updated bearings. Supposedly it's been fixed and I got an old kit? yah not happy. I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow. Sucks to have to drive to LA to pick it up. Anyone know other than cornering what other effects the MUCH lighter rims will effect? Top end acceleration? (front end comes up a little faster yah)

I like the design of the spokes, but the gold? Not a fan of gold rims....... Those wheels in chrome on the titantium 10? Would look sick!

keep in mind those are forged aluminum not magnesium.. they are not much lighter than stock if at all. I have them on my 06' 1000rr.. front exact same weight, rear 2 lbs less with lighter sprocket and wave rotor..
not taking anything away from this guys bike just making you guys aware that the 1000 wheels nowdays are very light and unless you get magnesium you wont see much.. good luck!!

I thought that 2 pounds on a wheel was a ton of weight difference.
