Input on AGV helmet/fit, quality etc.

Possibly looking at an AGV Demon Top helmet and wanted to know from those who have had one. How is the quality, fit, etc?

I ride with a Demon Top Vent, and love it. Mines all black with a dark smoke shield. I can't count the number of comments i've gottin' on it. IMO these are the baddest ass looking helmets on the market. It looks great with the 10. Beware though it is Italian and therefore your going to pay a ton for accessories for it. The shield alone was $63. GET IT GET IT GET IT!

Nator,

How big do these things run? One local shop has 2 but they are both large and XL. Accroding to a sizing chart they run very big. I take a Medium in SHoei, Icon. but the AGV sizing chart shows their small going well into the size Shoei and Icon show as a medium.

My last helmet was a Demon tv. It sucks compared to the KBC I have now. The fit is horrible, squeezes your cheeks together where you can hardley move your mouth. Just my .02

With the AGV you need to buy the correct cheek pads to get a proper fit the stock pads only fit a small percentage of people.

Anyways over all quality for the AGV is ok nothing like Shoei or Aria, but close. Good overall helmet and for the most part affordable, definitly get the X vent though and remember to ask your dealer about the cheek inserts and if he carries them.

I don't know about that Frank, the liner in the Demon isn't removable like in the x-vent.

Stick with the medium if that is your size. They do run big as i generelly where a large which is what i got and i wish it were a hair smaller. Don't get the larger size because its what they got it will be tooooooo big.

Was it too small? If i had complaint it would be the padding on the top of the helmet is to thin. I ride with a wrap on my head (no, i didn't say turbin) anyway but if you do this the liner will never get dirty, good for catching sweat as we all know we do on this bitch!
