Talked to my dealer today.

He said he is still being told my Kawasaki that the new 10R's will hit the west cost no later than this month(Jan) and be ready for delivery to the dealers by late Jan, early feb.

He also said Kawasaki has confirmed on his end that it's in custumes as we speak.

Now how much of this crap do I believe? Well after being jerked around many times by dealers before.. I don't really give it to much weight. But hell if i got it this month I'd be fucking one happy camper. :D

Well here in the UK my dealer’s telling me that I can’t expect delivery no sooner that mid to late Feb (I’ll have the first green one in).

So if you yanks get yours sooner, the only green thing I’m gonna get, is green with envy.

In the Netherlands it was possible to flew your 10 in for an extra 500Euro
Some of them are already @ their new happy owner…happy, I’m not sure because these are not the one’s with the fixed gearboxes that’s why my dealer rejected it. The improved one’s are coming late feb.

Thats pretty consistant with everything thats been available through the internet and various sources.
Speaking of happy campers i'd be one too if the misses hit all fours while out in the woods...

God that would own ass. Im the only one on the waiting list, and the dealer told me whatever comes in they will call me and if I want the color or not it's mine. Basically it's either Orange or Black, whatever one comes in first i'm getting. Cause it's a tie for me on either one. I like the orange better, but I don't like the cop attention bright colors gets. The black is fucking hot as hell, I just dont like cleaning black stuff. It gets dirty fast. All my friends nutt themselves over the Black but hate the orange, I think the orange is the shit. I like the orange too, it looks much better in person... your right about attracting attention...IT screams look at me!

Black looks really good in person, but it does hide the lines... gonna be team green for me.

From my dealer, straight from Kawasaki's Southeast Regional Rep: "the first batch of bikes are still in Japan, where the engineers are trying to find a little more power before release. Ricky Gadsden is there working with them". If this is true, we may be still be waiting at Easter.

Ah... which bikes are in Japan? Maybe thats where KHI has their engineering HQ... but Im pretty sure they're produced in Lincoln, NE.

I live near Lincoln and have spoken with some of the line workers there. There are no ZX10R's coming down their line. They have stated that all of the 10's will be coming from Japan.
