RE-Dynoed the gen 4 with BMW

So I posted a couple weeks ago the results of a dyno pull on my gen 4 with stock exhuast and guhl reflash. It posted 186.7hp at 200ft above see level and about 60deg. I got totally bashed on here like I was BSing or something. So the same place had a bike night with $20 dyno runs. I have since installed a two brothers 3/4 system and eleminated the cat. since this place is just a few miles away I took my busa first to see what kind of # I would get out of it. its got a full akra system and yosh boxed ecu. it pulled 160 even. so I ran home grabed the 10 and my buddy with a bone stock S1000rr. I wanted to see if the dyno was giving up crazy power readings and this would be a good base line. The busa numbers were in line with others I have seen. nothing crazy. so I put the 10 up on the dyno and its a dyno-mite dyno and about 78-80deg. He did the pull and it posted 185.6hp. so my buddy puts his BMW on less than 5min from my run and he posted 178hp. Then a 08 honda repsol with taylor slip on pulls 152hp. then a full modded and tuned gen 1 busa pulls 177hp. so other than the 10 everything else seemed pretty close to the outputs that ive seen before. Im still scratching my head but either way its putting 8+ hp more to the ground than a S1000rr! so I was happy. I was the highest of the night! anyways let the flameing and hating begin! just thought I would post my first hand experince. take it for what its worth.

They have the same here on aTuesday night. I ran my 08 Busa(ECU Flashed, Full Yosh TRS system, Filterand fully stock motor with 43k miles). It pulled 184hp. When the guy set it up he told me he got 182hp in South Jersey and this is in FL. Second time it pulled 186hp. I won first place those 2 months. The third month I took my 06 ZX10R(A&R Baffle kit, and TRE) it pulled 174hp.

That sounds about right, if not a touch high, but there are variables from every dyno and every bike. Mine with a full system and flashed ecu with mapping pulled 184.8. The dyno operator told me every gen4 with a flash and full system he'd done was around 185 on his dyno. Your numbers seem to be about right, although I do think the original numbers with the stock system and catalytic converter in place were a bit high. But like I said, every dyno is a bit different.

It just amazes me because that was like ama superbike # from just 5-6yrs ago. Now you can make that with a stock bike and less than $400 mod. Still blows my mind.

sounds about right. My mates 4 with Graves slipon and euro map of the net without tune made 187.8 uncorrected and 184.5 corrected. Stock Bm makes 178-9 on same dyno.
