Right to remain silent...
Some of us have been in this situation... But what is the law.
Few years ago I organized a ride to Mohegan Sun. 12 bikes... the ride got a little crazy... Some guys were really ridding over the top.
I'll skip the details cuz it was ugly....
Cop stops me and two other guys and asked if I knew the guy who ran... I said no.
Same scenario happened to another group of guys I know. Cop threatned to take the guys bike if he did not give up a name...
Guy gave up a name....Yikes and a phone number. Cop called the guy and he never got in trouble cause he denied everything.
So what is the law on this... Your buddy runs; you stop they ask for a name.
Can a cop arrest you for not giving a name?

I have been stopped so many times because of dumbasses in the group and I've been the dumbass before. Rule of thumb. "You don't know him. He was cruising by and joined in."

I would sooner sit in the hoosegal for a day than snitch.
Just don't be a smartass,
Or he will make your day a miserable one.

Hell yeah, whoo.
If that was me it happened to,
I would be saving up some bail & assault fine money.
I wish they had a pre-pay program set up.
Just do a walk thru the po po station,
"Hey fella's, Just passing thru, See ya next time".
Well here, since I'm a home owner,
I don't need bail money as long as it's a misdemeanor.
I do a signature bond.
And simple assault is only $375 bucks here.
Don't ask me how I know that.
