41t rear sprocket installed!
Another member here was kind enough to sell me an OEM 41t sprocket for $25 that he got in the "free" section. I had already installed a 16t counter on my gen4 but still wanted a bit more oomph. Was curious if the 41t would fit with the stock chain, but couldn't get any replies other than, "yeah, maybe". Well, I slapped it on tonight and it fits with no problems at all. It didn't even move the rear wheel as far forward as I thought it would. I'd bet if a person was so inclined they could fit a 42 or maybe a 43 on the rear with a 16t counter. It is raining tonight and now I'm drinking whiskey seven's so didn't get to test it, but I can't wait. I put a scuff in my swingarm though getting that damn cotter pin out. It was already tweaked a bit from when I had it off before. I think I need to just buy a quantity of those cotter pins and replace them every time. Anyone know the size so I can just go to the hardware store?
A little dab from the black sharpie cleaned up the little scuff anyway.

Piss off the cotter pin and buy R clips, they come in multi sizeed packs, they're much better!
I ran -1 +3 for ages so I could have told you that it would fit if I'd seen your post oh well.

That looks much better. Is there a certain size of "R" clip?

Some guys haven't even been able to get -1/+2 to work on stock chain. Seems to depend if the chain is stretched enough and/or the Gen 10 seems to matter as well. I would not have been able to get -1/+3 to work on my Gen2. I had my rear wheel shoved all the way forward to get -1/+2 to fit but only had around 5k miles on my stock chain I think.

Fair call, I was talking about the Gen 4 though as that's what he rides and from new that combo will work all day long.
Oh and Teedub21 I just bought a multi pack of various sizes from my local car accessories retailer and is was (technical term) "the big one" lol.
Just gotta be bigger than the axle, hole to hole.

 You'd be due an upgrade...no I didn't...
Kidding gen 2's are fine.

No, I am due. But gotta get a new car for work first. Hoping my Gen2 stays strong til I upgrade. Probably 2 years then a new Kaw 1k(10R of course).

Saweeeet dude...that would be around Gen 5 time and I reckon I'll be shopping for a new ride around then to, lets hope its another stand out for Kwaka and they can just build on the success of the Gen 4.
Teedub21, let us know what you think of that gearing when you get a chance to try it out. I think you'll like it!
