MJ Motogear front and rear stands
I realize there is probably another thread on this but figured id give my input and help people see alternate routes for stands.
Just got in my stands from mj motogear. http://mjmotogear.com/FRONT-HEAD-LIF...ET-COMBO-2.htm only $100 which is very nice. Never owned any of the expensive stands, or any stands, until now. But these aren't too bad. Pretty straightforward putting them together. Got a head stand for the front, but also ordered the conversion kit for the forks, only another $8 or so.
They seem to be alright, only issue with the head stand is I had to put a big ass bolt on the pin so it didn't come into contact with some throttle cables or something didn't look too much into it. It DOES come into contact with the plastics underneath, only a very small part and it isn't to much pressure onto them, right where the screw is and maybe an inch out on both sides I think it is liveable. I may cut that area on the stand so it doesn't contact at all and it should still be perfectly fine.
But overall not bad and you can't beat it for the price. Everything seems pretty sturdy and only $100! Front headstand and rear stand in my opinion. If anybody is concerned about it touching the plastics it is minimal, I had my brother lift up the front of the bike while I got it on just to see how much contact. And you can most likely cut that part of the tube and still be 100% okay.

Cool man. T-Rex stands are also really good and cheap price(sturdy as hell as I've sat on my bike while f/r were in air)

The t-rex ones do appear to be of better quality in their pictures. Cost a little more but I have a feeling those are even a better option then these for the minimal price difference. Had I researched more and known about those I may of gone that route instead.

Yeah, a hundred bucks for the pair is very hard to beat. Do they seem VERY stable?

No doubt in my mind they will hold. The welds and everything seem very clean. The piping itself is all high quality it seems. The only low quality pieces are just the mounting pieces, like the way they have the bolts the parts that go onto the swingarm spools and things like that. But still adequate. Here is some pics. The nut on the headpin I had to add, it is needed for them to work on the gen4.

Took the bike off the stands for now as imma probably ride to work tomorrow and I don't feel comfortable doing it myself, just don't wanna tip my bike, so I have my brother help me. But I will have the bike back up tomorrow maybe or day after when i get my new tires in to take my rims and stuff off so ill get some pics of the bike on the stands then.
