It's no widowmaker, but it'll do
Check out my new braaap braap! 1974 RD250. Needs a few odds and ends, but runs good and has a fresh top end.
A quick video of riding the RD

Thanks! Yeah, I fell in love with her after a quick rip. Its no 10R, but certainly has some nostalga. My plan is to fix a few odd and ends, clean her up some, and set up in a semi-cafe style. I like the soft seat vs. cafe pan, and I'll probably modify the front bumper somehow and reinstall. I plan on leaving the original paint as it has this crackling (not flaking off) and fading which turns from yellowish to brown, all of which is super cool.
You better get over soon for a rip before she's designated as a garage queen!! Haha!!

Nice bike man. They are getting hard to find anymore. A good thing to do is eliminate the oil pump and just pre mix the gas and oil.

I wanted to eliminate the tank and pump and run a premix, but read somewhere that the oil injection feeds the lower end too, and if I run premix I risk doing lower end damage.. what do you run on your "queen"?

True, and it will be! Once I give it a clean bill of health, we'll be hitting the streets. First order of business is replacing a few engine oil seals, gear oil change, and making sure the 2 stroke oil injection is working properly.
