heres one a shot at 150 yards with a muzzle loader.he was running across a field. i didnt think i was going to hit him but i did. i aimed in front of him about a foot and about a foot over his back.he went down as soon as i pulled the trigger.the first one i was in my stand for about 15 min and he just came out of no where.shot him with the same muzzleloader at about 15 yards. i wish i would of had my bow. im like you i need to hit a big one with the bow. my biggest is a 4 point with a bow.

the biggest i have taken w/ a bow is a scrubby 5pt, i hate shooting small bucks but in NY, you dont have a lot of monsters running around... plus they eat just as good

i try shooting 6 point or better. i have alot of big bucks running around so i let alot of 6's and 8's go at the beginning of the season.in dec. if i dont have nothing then ill shoot a smaller buck.i think this year they are building houses on the property i have been hunting so i might be screwed.
