Gen 4: smog plate removal process?

anyone have pics to the locations of the smog plates and a how to would be great. I am planning on doing this pretty soon as I will be getting a Bazzaz unit and want to get an accurate reading when tuning.
thanks

gotta remove the airbox to get to them...

you can block it off one of two ways, remove the plates and JB weld the holes shut or you can run a rubber tube from one side to the other.

You cannot leave that valve unplugged though, either leave it in there plugged in or you will have to run a resistor over the two wires.

so do I need to cap off the hole that goes to the air box from the block off plates and also need to loop the wires as well?
