I felt like I was being fed hamburger and being told it was steak. I agree with the basic idea of the message, but don't charge me 7.50 a pound for it

When you look at what all the manufacturers are offering, Suzuki isn't offering anything extra that stands out from everyone else. They end the video with power. Lol and Kawi, Honda, Yami and BMW doesn't?
In regards to electronic aids, it's part of evolution of the sport. It it wasn't, we'd be riding with the same suspension technology of the slingshots. The handling of my 08 10 is almost telepathic. That definitely helps in the rider. Riding my 08 is definitely easier than riding the same way on a 90's Ninja. I can appreciate the older racers. They raced with ergos and suspension that didn't make sense when comparing to the knowledge e have today.
ABS, traction control and other electronic aids, will soon become standard on street bikes. It's evolution. For those that don't want it, pull the fuse out. On the street it's a good idea. Can't speak for the track since I don't ride track.

Actually that was at the last track day I did. PBIR in the third session, corner 4, nice slow gentle lowside that may have been avoidable. Hard to say really because the way the gen 1 delivers power is really harsh and the chassis isnt known for being the most well behaved. All that added to the fact that Im just an average rider landed me sliding across a wet track. Im on the 2ct's running 32/30 so obviously no the stickiest tires but they have been pretty decent overall.

kind of sounds like you had an accident like me. I was adjusting throttle to try and regain traction which didn't work. Front had grip just not the rear. I was told be other guys I should have stood the bike up more to regain not throttle. Was the longest slide I've done. Mine was at the track too.

Exactly. Funny thing is that was a straight shot a the 10R. There is only one other bike with wheelie control aside from the King Kaw. Nobody is buying the 2012 Gixxer 1k because they are badly slacking in technology department.
The shops that want a drag bike to promote are the only ones really buying the 1K Zuk right now. The damn thing is same price as the other big 3 and have nothing but Brembo front brakes as an arguement.
