It coast sooooo long.
There should be no difference in stopping distance when using a bike with ABS as opposed to non ABS as long as you are outside the limit of brake lockup.

The reason it feels like it takes forever to stop is you are not used to using the back brake, which has a tiny rotor, and not nearly the clamping force of the front. It had nothing to do with the fact it had ABS.

I figured the smart thing was to bite my tongue and walk away, especially because I am in the process of buying a bike.
Although, I was tempted to do the above.

Has anyone tested this?
I assumed that the rear brake only would still activate the ABS and the rear brake only would "pulse" instead of lock up?

Hey dude, not sure if you are referring to my post, but I'm only basing my post off of into that a ZX10 ABS owner posted.
Maybe I read his post wrong.

Obviously it makes sense for the system to allow the rear brake to lock up to enable the ability to rotate the bike. I'm just looking for clarity.
Which is made even more difficult when you have idiots at dealerships spewing bullshit.

Do applying Brakes on the Front triggers the rear Brakes? No....

Yep, couldn't have said it better myself. Your sales person doesn't know his product and he is not up to date with the current technology. Typical.

No my repy was to the OP. Personally I would think that the ABS would mainly control the front Braking and the Slipper Clutch would control the rear. Of course I don't have one so I can't say. But that would make sense to me.. Who the hell would want ABS on the rear with a slipper clutch?? That doesn't make sense to me.

Please go back and ask him how the traction control works...
